5th August 2022 marks the 20th Golden Bull Award.
Along with the 3 categories that were opened for competition, the Emerging SMEs, Outstanding SMEs, and Super Golden Bull Award, this year, the Golden Bull Award also introduced the Digital Transformation Awards. This award goes beyond recognizing the current digital transformation journey of businesses to reinforce the belief and culture - internally, externally, exponentially - that digital is the future.

The Golden Bull Award is a Malaysian business award brand that aims to serve as an effective platform to benchmark successful businesses, inspiring more businesses, both SMEs and corporates, to strive for greater excellence.
Ever since its inception in 2003, the Golden Bull Award has since expanded and has been organized in multiple countries like Singapore, Taiwan, and mainland China. Within Malaysia, the Golden Bull Award has recognized over 2,000 Malaysian businesses for their outstanding performance and resilience despite the ever-changing market environment.
“The common traits of these successful SMEs who thrived despite the pandemic, are that they have a strong business foundation and were quick to adapt to the adverse situation. The same companies are now among the first to rebound from the pandemic - proving that businesses must focus on getting their basics right” said Datuk William Ng, the organizing chairman of the Golden Bull Award, on the night of the commemorative event.
He then continues, “The Golden Bull Award symbolizes 'Strength and Growth'. This year, it also represents resilience and the idea that we must not give up, no matter how tough the road ahead will be.”
